無得彈

有讀者問「無得彈」的英文是甚麼？我們知道「無得彈」是「極好、一流、了不起」的意思。在日常英語，除了 Very good，我們可以說Excellent, Marvellous, Wonderful, Terrific, Fantastic, Fabulous 或 Great。

我們很容易在電視劇和電影找到以下例子：The wine is excellent 是「這葡萄酒極好」，The party is marvellous是「那舞會一流」，We had a wonderful time 是「我們玩得很開心」，I think she is terrific 是 「我認為她很了不起」，You've done a fantastic job是「你做了一件很了不起的事」，Their house is really fabulous是「他們的房子真是一流」，而Great 最常用，例如：He's a great guy是「他這個人真是了不起」，What a great idea！是「多好的主意啊！」，別人問你How are you feeling now? 你說Great，即是「好極了！」。
