混戰

上周，南韓農民每天與警方發生混戰、互相推撞。英文就是 Scuffle. Scuffle可以用作動詞，例如：The demonstrators scuffled with the police 是「那些示威者與警察混戰」。它也是名詞，例如：「示威者與警方發生多次混戰」就是A few scuffles broke out between the demonstrators and the police.
「混戰的人群」是melee ，它是法文，但已經收在英文詞典裏。
例如： Protesters seized several police shields during the melee 就是「抗議者在混戰的人群中搶去警方幾個盾牌」。與 Scuffle差不多的就是 Clash 即衝突，Several rounds of clashes 是「幾輪衝突」，a clash of interests, opinions 就是利益、意見的衝突。There is a clash between these two colours 就是「這兩種顏色不調和」，即「撞色」。
